Tom’s Tulip Tea is made of 100% certified organic tulip flowers from The Netherlands, and infused with refreshing verveine, lemon, and thyme grown in Switzerland’s most sustainable valley in Val Poschiavo.

The making of Tom’s Tulip Tea

As the owner of Toms Travel Tours, Tom van der Leij, takes his guests to see and soak up the best tulip fields in the Netherlands every tulip season. He knows the places to go, including the largest biological tulip farm in the country. With his passion for natural products and entrepreneurial spirit, Tom thought - why not make tea out of these tulip flowers?! The colorful flowers are usually disposed of since it’s the bulb that’s sold and used.

Then comes Switzerland into the story. Tom is also an avid photojournalist writing for hiking and travel magazines. On assignment in Val Poschiavo, he met an organic tea producer. Voila, the birth of Tom’s Tulip Tea. 100% certified organic handpicked tulip flowers combined with 100% certified organic handpicked verveine, thyme and lemon herbs. Fragrant, tasty, colorful and refreshing!
